These terms cover your use of the Beloplan web application and the Beloplan app on your phone. They do not replace the contract between Beloplan and the company you work for — where the two differ, that contract wins.
Eligibility
Who this is for#
Beloplan is for people who work for a company that uses Beloplan. There is no public sign-up. Your account is created for you by your employer, and it exists for as long as they say it does.
If you are reading this without such an account, there is nothing here you can use. If you are a customer of one of our customers, following a link to sign a quote or read your project, those pages are yours to use and the rest of this page is not about you.
Agreements
Which agreement governs what#
There are two, and they cover different things.
- The subscription agreement between Beloplan and your employer covers the service itself: what is provided, at what price, with what commitments, and how their data is processed.
- These terms of use cover you and your use of the software. They give you nothing your employer has not granted, and they take nothing from the agreement above.
Where the two say different things about the same subject, the subscription agreement wins.
Accounts
Your account is your employer’s#
Your employer opened your account, decides what you can see and do in it, and can change or close it at any time. What you can reach is what they granted you — nothing in the product can widen that.
Use it yourself. Do not let anybody else sign in as you, and tell your employer straight away if you think somebody has. Choose a password you have not used elsewhere, and turn on the phone’s biometric unlock if the device supports it.
Records
The work you record belongs to your company#
Hours, tasks, materials, photographs, notes, documents and everything else you enter are your employer’s business records. They are stored in their account, they can be read by the colleagues they have granted access to, and they are kept and deleted according to their rules.
Do not put anything into the product that does not belong there. In particular: do not photograph people who have not agreed to it, and do not use free-text fields for private matters. A note typed into a task is not a private message, and a site photograph may end up in a report a customer reads.
Acceptable use
Using it properly#
Use Beloplan for your work, and:
- do not try to reach data your account was not given;
- do not copy your company’s commercial information — prices, margins, customer details — out of the product for anything other than your work;
- do not attempt to interfere with the software or the servers behind it, or to work around the checks in either;
- do not use it to break the law, or in a way that would put somebody in danger.
Your employer may take your access away if you do, and serious cases are theirs to act on as an employer.
Devices
Your device and your sign-in#
The software is only as safe as the device it is used on. Keep a screen lock on your phone, keep the operating system up to date, and sign out of shared computers.
If a phone or laptop is lost or stolen, tell your employer straight away — they can end its session immediately, and so can you from another device under Settings. Mobile data charges are between you and your operator.
Availability
When it is not there#
The product needs a connection to record work, and it tells you plainly when it cannot reach the server rather than pretending to have saved something.
We work to keep the service running, and we cannot promise it is always available: maintenance, network failures and faults happen. Any uptime commitment there is lives in the agreement with your employer, not here. Nothing in this product should be your only record of something that matters legally — your employer’s own obligations still apply.
Data
What we do with the data behind it#
What is stored, where it is kept, who at Beloplan can reach it and how long it stays are set out on the privacy page, which is part of these terms.
Changes
Changes#
The product changes as it is improved, and screens will move. Where a change materially affects how you use it, your employer is told.
These terms can change too. The version and date at the top say which one you are reading, and the current version is always the one published here.
Liability
Our responsibility, and its limits#
We take care that the software does what it says. We cannot be responsible for what your employer decides with the information in it, for how somebody else uses their own account, or for losses caused by a device, a network or an operating system outside our control.
Nothing here limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud.
Termination
When your access ends#
Your access ends when your employer ends it, or when they stop using Beloplan. When it does, sign out — that erases everything the app was holding on your device.
Your work records stay with your employer, because they were always theirs.
Law & contact
Which law applies, and how to reach us#
These terms are governed by Belgian law, and disputes go before the courts of Belgium, unless the agreement between Beloplan and your employer says otherwise.
For anything about your account, your hours or your records, ask your employer — they hold the account and they can act on it. For a question about the software itself:
